“Congratulations Covenwald, you are a free man”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I and every man who would ever be called to serve on a Jury”!  “Verdicts will no longer be compelled by a Judge, or a King for that matter”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“And you have made yourself a friend in William Penn”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Please, are you trying to put me back into Jail”?  “William Penn”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Say what you will of William Penn, but his father the Admiral has served the King and the Duke bravely and with the utmost of loyalty”.  “It is said that the Duke promised the Admiral to take care of his son”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Then why is Penn still living in exile”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is rumored that Penn is working to establish a Quaker Colony in the New World”.  “The New Jersey frontier in particular”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“West Jersey, yes, I’ve heard many Quakers are settling there”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“No, beyond West Jersey, in the lands beyond the great river”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“De la Guerre”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Its name is De la Warr, after the great Baron and Governor of Virginia, but most people just say Delaware”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Isn’t that Swedish territory”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Rumor again has it that the King has paid off an old Debt to Penn’s father, and in an act that will get rid of Penn once and for all, he has seeded all land west of the river to Penn”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You mean it’s Penn’s Territory now”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Penn\u2019s Woods, or as Penn himself has named it, Pennsylvania”!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
